Hello,
I just purchased a 92 Accord F22A* with no motor for $300 and put in a F22B1 SOHC VTEC in it. VTEC is not hooked. Im running off the OBD1 ECU and I cant get the powering steering pump on it. The bracket of the f22a* wont fit and I heard it did. Must I change te ECU? Now the car is A/T and it revs kinda high before it shifts and on 3rd gear I must release the gas pedal for it to shift. And I think my mech left out the vacuum line for the fuel press regulator. I have a pic of the parts I see not connected. I pressume vacuum because the car idles rough on Gear and when on complete stops, but the RPM's are right on 700 RPM idle. Guess my question is, should I have changed the ECU? Can I trust the codes of the ECU for a F22a* on a F22B1?
