New spark plugs...which is the best?

If you are trying to fix the oil on top of plugs issue, then be sure you get the full seal set, the seals under the cam are not fun to get to and it is no fun to repeat your work if the initial fix did't really fix the problem. I had to do this when I first bought my CB7.

it's always best to change all seals top and bottom i had to do the same its a pain to have to go back and take it apart again

I changed the top only at first, hoping it would fix the leak, it didn't so then I had to pull the rocker assembly (much more work) and redo the whole job. SMDH

I kicked myself in the ass later for being lazy.

Thanks everyone, your insight was perfect. I ordered some NGK plugs. I do have that oil in the plugs leak going on. That is why the gaskets were ordered. I'm doing top and bottom. Just figured while I have the area apart, I minus well replace the plugs, wires, valve cover...

Yes I have been going ballistic with the red paint the last few days. When the new valve cover is on, I'm gonna blast and repaint the old one. Probably sell it on craigslist or something. Hate to see it go to waste.

IMO The NGK V power , NGK Platinum , Or the New E3's have gotten good results in short NGK or Denso .

Silly question, but why not cleanup and paint a jy cover or the one that is on the car? Is the car your DD? Could you just not have the car down and out for a bit?

I have always used NGK iridium plugs on every car I have ever had. Changes between them take forever so im happy with the outcome.

I have studied this a few times. Guys, listen to Deev and Bisi. They know what they are saying here. Oh, also the Honda engineers went with NGK so that says a lot. Personally myself i like the regular NGK s. Unless you have a seriously modded engine, and if your car is a dd, the fraction of increase in mpg doesnt pay out in the long run, because some of the fancy plugs do not last as long. Been there done that. The 1.99 NGK s is the way to go.

i've ran the nkg plugs and wires on my car for over 20k km's now, and never had an issue. plus a honda tech i know recommended them when i asked about changing, so i figured he was right....lol
