ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You do. So look at it.

Also, you don't need a big-ass picture of your car posted in a thread asking about an exhaust leak. We know what a CB7 looks like, and that picture does nothing to help us answer your question.

That exact thing happened to me on my brown accord, i was on the highway very far from home so i had to just let it drag, it dragged the ground until it ripped the flex pipe in half. Goodbye cat.

That said I feel like your guys lack of willingness to help out noobs who have little or no previous car knowledge is going to make the next generation of car / cb7 enthusiasts lose interest in our cars. The least we could do is be nice about it even if they ask a question that has an obvious answer.

The only thing thats going to happen if we keep being mean to new people is contributing to making more ricers who only care about simple cosmetic things like spoilers and body kits instead of learning about their car and such

edit: obviously I don't mean everyone, but the people that do this know who they are

you do have a point but SPOON FEEDING the new people instead of them trying to put in some effort to search for the answer before asking the question isn't going to help the situation either. I certainly don't know everything about these cars but i try to make sure that i have tried to find out as much as i possibly could BEFORE i start a new thread asking a question and if i add pictures, the picture will be related to the question i am asking. The new generation thinks that EVERYTHING should be handed to them in this world and it's just NOT going to work that way. They need to put forth the effort themselves to find the information they need. If they don't find it THEN they can ask their questions and it will likely be looked upon with more respect if that person said they searched but didn't find the answer to the question they were looking for.

If rude remarks on a forum is going to keep you from doing something you want to do then go find something else to do. Quit your bloodclot crying and GTFO with that bullshit.

                          Dude,
You got hammered for wanting to eat off some one else's spoon. It's enough to take off axle nuts without effort.
Hey, to get good answers you need to put some thoughts and planning into your questions. You must structure your questioning and you'll get the answers you need. Poor questioning methods usually get you no answer or bad answers or hostility. Hostility b/c many people actually work hard for their knowledge and they think you should put in the same effort to obtain it.
Good luck Bud. Don't get discourage, this site is the most helpful of many sites I have been to. You don't have to guess what the people are thinking.

Just because his exhaust is loud doesnt mean its an exhaust leak. That is typically described as a ticking or hissing noise. It looks like someone put an "aftermarket exhaust" on and that is the problem..
