speedometer malfunction ! at or around 35 40 mph my speed do starts to jump 10 to 15 mph up and down from current speed of travel within 30 to 40 sec. it goes to zero and the sport light starts to blink then shortly followed by a cel light. im just getting in off the road back home, im going to try and pull the code its throwing when i wake up , would like any ideas to what is the problem , is it my instrument cluster of is it my V.S.S or some other random far out explanation ? this irratic speedometer started today after i power washed the car (including the engine bay) the car started right up being that i did not spray directly at the dizzy or anything that looked like it should not get soaked ,could this possibly be a wet connection on the trans some were i let the car sit for about 4 hrs after i washed it b4 i drove it please any input is needed first time ive seen this and canot remember any one posting a simular problem .
