ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    upper and lower control arms

I've been looking for about a week on google and ebay but i have not beeb able to find a trustable brand for upper abd lower control arms. The only thing for moog (Deev) that i could find was the bushings but not actually upper control arm assembly. Is there a good brand around ebay or google that i can trust or should i go to honda and get them. Stock did last 20 year so i dont see a reason why it shouldn't last 20 more. I also want to lower and get a camber kit so i was wondering if stock can handle that.

Any help or suggestion would be appriciated. Thanks

Why is it that you need lower control arms?

When i was replacing my ball joints, i just bought the kit from TAS as it came with everything; upper control arms, LBJs, and rear uppers. I paid a little more to get genuine Honda LBJs substituted and then had a friend at a shop pressed them in.

I also use NAPA for a lot of my auto parts so anything from them i'd trust.

You shouldn't need to replace the lower control arm unless yours are damaged... and that would take a serious impact to do. You can replace the lower ball joints by themselves. I just wouldn't do the upper ball joints by themselves.

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com is usually the best place to buy new OEM parts. New UCAs aren't cheap, but as you said... they'll last another 20 years. Replace them now... spend that money now... and you'll be spending it ONCE. I doubt you'll have this car for another 20 years, and if you do, you'll certainly appreciate the value of using quality parts!

im thinking that he's approaching the suspention subject the way the EGsquad does..no offense towards and EGsquad members of course..but when i had my eg and was on their forums it was funny to see how many people bought Blox or Skunk2 LCA's. ASR subrame braces, fancy powdercoated upgraded swaybars etc, etc. my point is a lot of eg owners buy those parts simply because theyre available and they look shiny. not all, but many eg owners have done this. shit, if i had the money when i was rollin an eg i'd have done that too.
