ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

no name parts vs. name brand

OK I know why not on no name suspension and quick releases and what no but what I want to know is why go with a AEM cold air intake over a no name or why a DC header over a no name like what are the differences

    #2
If you don't live in California then you have absolutely no need whatsoever for either of them. The only advantage the DC header offers is a ceramic coating.

Usually with brand name parts, its trusted and the build quality is better than no name. USUALLY.. I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions though

You get what you pay for. Like looking for a tooth extraction and going to a guy on the street with a set of pliers instead of a dentist.

theres exeptions not because ur paying top dollar means ur getting the best part it goes bothways recent example a found was bisimoto 1000$ headers compared to some cheap hytech replica and to my surprise the fake headers shoot very similar results on the dyno as the fancy more expensive bisi headers.. so in some cases dont let the price or brand name fool u

Yeah but lets say bisimoto, they inovated to create that header, which means having to do work, and the replica just comes and steals their hard work. It gives people like bisi reasons to not inovate on our platforms. Same goes for other companies.

Show me another F22 header other than Bisi's that makes over 20hp on a stock engine.

You should really stop talking so much shit.

The car your reffering to on HT was modified, and the end result was that the Bisi header still made more power.
Bisis's response in that thread explained enough to still proove that his product is better.

I'm happy with my Megan Racing header. I paid 60 bucks for that off of a member on here because i needed a new flex pipe, my old one was torn. I live in Ohio so i don't need to have a CARB exempt sticker.

Just like in your other thread that was closed, explaining things to you is a waste of time.
