ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Bad, no. good idea since it steam cleans the carbon build up on your internals. Great stuff, I use it regularly. Smooths idle on a 20 yr old motor

          I <3 SeaFoam

Correct me if im wrong but this is what i did.

          1. Someone in car keep RPMs at 2k.
          2. Allow brake booster line to vacuum SeaFoam(half the bottle).
          3. Turn car off for about 15min(to allow SeaFoam to clean Everything).
          4. Turn car on, let idle/drive for 30 minutes.
          5. after 200 miles oil change.

Car ran like brand new !

I dump half a can in my ATV every fill up. It keeps the carb clean in a 4 stroke pretty good.

yea i did it in my 92'
takes off smoother nd idles better, but what i did when i seafoamed
was poored 1/3 through the pcv valve(some people say that if u use too much, its bad, but that what ive herd) tunred it off for 10 minutes, turned it back on nd rev it till it all goes away, or drive it hard, maybe like at 3-3.5k rpms on the freeway
                bu either way, it works

I just don't see why people waste their money on it when what they need is carb and choke cleaner.

Seafoam will help dissolve oil sludge, not carbon buildup. the only additive that takes care of carbon deposits(that I am aware of) is PEA(poly etheramine) AKA Techron, various companies use it, Gumout regane high mileage I believe is the best "low cost" PEA additive.

B12 chemtool> Seafoam. just be sure to use some lucas or MMO in there if you ever add B12 to the gas, its a little corrosive and will dry injectors out and cause failures with them if no lubricants are added to the gas after cleaning your fuel system with it.
