ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    esp auto to manual mount?

So i got the auto to manual mount of esp and ever since my front end vibrates from 20-30 mph. I changed everything that can make my front end vibrate ,axkes ,ball joints, tie rods, tires upper control arms and the problem it still there. When i use a 94 accord lx tranny mount that bolts right on my h22 but my engine sit a lil crokked toward the transmission side it doesn't vibrate. Can my mount be the problem or is it a must to get tge whole esp kit in order for it not to vibrate?? Thanks

With stiffer/newer mounts you are going to experience more vibrations from the engine. The stiff mounts cause the vibrations to transfer from the engine to the body.

You're running one new ESP mount with a stiff polyurethane bushing, and 3 floppy 20 year old mounts elsewhere? And you're wondering why it vibrates?
There was a time when ESP wouldn't even sell the single conversion mount by itself. They begrudgingly started doing it because the demand was high... and no smart businessman turns away cash.

I would replace those mounts with new stock ones at least... or fill them with urethane... if you don't want to spend the money to get a full set of ESP mounts.

          site:www.cb7tuner.com

Follow your search on Google with that, and it will search ONLY this site. It's much more effective than the search on here, unless you're already pretty sure what you're looking for to begin with.

I'm not a fan of Window Weld... My friend did my mounts for me. I'll have to ask him what he used.

Also, if the other mounts are shitty and the engine is flopping around, it'll tear one good mount apart pretty quickly.

It was a McMasters urethane, I think. I'm not sure which one he used. It vibrates like crazy, though. Stiffer mounts translate more vibration to the chassis.

Those are the ones I'm going off of. I'm going to use McMaster Carr shore 60, a lot of people recommend 80 for performance applications.

Be sure to either mix all of it together, or mix it accurately by weight, a lot of people report problems from incorrect urethane/hardener ratios.

Will it only vibrate at certain speed like the 20 to 30sh or it will vibrate all the time??

To add to what the bossman said, its probably best to purchase the whole set from ESP.They even discourage against buying the single auto to manual mount on theyre website stating that your remaining stock mounts wont last as long.It may very well be worth the extra cash.I was about to make the same mistake and purchase just the tranny mount but have decided to wait myself.
