Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The blue smoke usually signifies burning oil. If it's coming out of the muffler, it could be your lower spark plug tube seals. They're a pretty common problem.
As for the overheating and smoke, how is your coolant level??Originally posted by deevergote. And please, for the love of God, type like a human being!

If you're seeing steam you've got a leak somewhere check, the rear water pipe and seal. It might be time to look into a water pump, but check all the coolant hoses around and under the intake manifold.

I think there was an issue with checking out the water hose with one being bad like the thermostat once the car is warmed out if one of the hoses there was a trick with that to see if the hoses to check out the water pump is bad.
If your driving and it happens to cool off and now when your stationary and it cools off it could be the waterpump. Honestly dude I get the compression tester and do a compression test to make sure. Did you check the color of the coolant was it a muddy brown? When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? when was the last time you changed your fuel pump too? The valve seals can be a very bad culprit too. This goes especially if you see one of your sparkplugs completely soaked in oil.
-Check for leaks like in the coolant hoses or in the radiator.
-Check to make sure that when the car is cold that you atleast have enough coolant. Make sure its not a shitty brown color
-Check your sparkplugs to see if its covered in oil.
- Check your fuel filter and whens the last time you changed your fuel pump.
-Give your car a compression check.
If you need any help let me know or any of the people on the forums on here.
