ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    H22a header f22a downpipe question

In the process of getting some things together to swap my a4 for an obd1 h22a in my 90 exr. As there is already a downpipe on my exhaust for the 4-2-1 header style will my stock downpipe match up to a header for an h22a? I also have an aftermarket complete header to test pipe off the car aswell. Any advice on the swap would be welcomed. I've done some research some says yes some say no. Thanks
    My work in progress!

When I did my swap "F22A6 to H22A" the headers didn’t fit and I had the 4-2-1 style header and downpipe for my F22. The OEM header that came with my H22 didn't match up with the down pipe at all. So I had to order another 4-2-1 header and downpipe for the H22 which worked just great. I hope this answered your question and also if you want to I would wrap up your headers because after you remove the stock H header you won’t be able to bolt on the heat shield anymore.

Thats exactly what I needed to know, although I hadn't considered the heat factor, I'll have to pick up some wrap when I pick up some new gear thanks for the info. Just wanted to hear it from someone who has done it.

Make sure you wear gloves when your doing the wrap or youll be really itchy because of the fiberglass. But your welcome anything else you need feel free to ask bro.

I'm wondering how much I need to lengthen the P/S lines to retain it, I'm thinkin that I need the Lude p/s pump ends and the CB7 rack ends but don't wanna make em too long I wanna have it look nice and clean.

If you want it nice and clean then your best bet would be to use all DOHC Prelude parts for the power steering system. P39 bracket, DOHC Prelude pump and high pressure line and you're good to go. Granted you'll have to find one in the junkyard but it will be the easiest and cleanest way to get an OEM look. Hybridizing the high pressure line will only get you into trouble.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

So If I already have the pump and such then all I have to do is find the lines and they will bolt up to the accord rack?
