ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Option Racing Strut Bar

Hey guys, I was looking around the site for some good strut bar brands, but no one has mention anything about these:

    http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...i00148867.html

I'm wondering, have you guys ever bought from Andy's Auto Sport?
And are these strut bars good?
    What is considered 'good'?

    Thanks in advance.

I think option is just an "ebay brand". They're up for like 20 on ebay. Check em out

It is not an "Ebay brand". Its just a cheap bar that is tipicaly sold on Ebay.

Mediocre at best. You'll feel the difference, but i wouldn't trust the quality. I believe there are some Neuspeed 4-point replicas on eBay, for a reasonable price, that are of decent quality.

I've had the cheapo no-name 2-point strut bar, a name brand RACTIVE 2-point and currently an authentic Neuspeed 4-point Upper Strut Brace.

Trust me, there is a difference. No-name stuff i could flex just by reefin' on it. The RACTIVE bar was stiffer yet, but the Neuspeed strut brace is SOLID. It is one with the car and does a very good job of pre-loading the suspension. You can feel the added response in the steering wheel when driving through the twisties.

I wouldn't recommend a no-name 2-point bar if you intend to do any serious driving of any kind.

Alright, that comment really helped a lot. In that case I'll take a look into the neuspeed struts. Thanks for everyone who has contributed. If there are anymore information, please feel free to add your input!

Don't haphazardly abbreviate... you're talking about a strut bar, not struts, right? BIG difference.

The Neuspeed bar is only good if you don't have a DOHC engine. It won't fit with a DOHC.
I have a Megan Racing knockoff of the DC Sports 2 point design. Not as good as the Neuspeed, but WAY better than the cheap crap design seen on that Option bar. I had a cheap "Matrix" bar before, and it actually bent. Such crap!
