ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

92 Accord Wagon jdm H22A swap randoms

i just purchased a 92 accord wagon. had a H22A swapd into it. it is a 5spd. it has power steering, ac and cruise that works. im interestd in knowing what prelude my engine came out of so i can buy parts at parts store. also, what do i purchase an intake system for to fit with only minor to no mods to system. and last, what short shifter should i be ordering to fit.

a h22 is a h22. look between the exhaust ports on the head and youll see the date the motor was made. that will tell you what car it came from.
a prelude intake will fit. a short ram is easier than a cold air.
    dont get a short shifter.

Leave Autozone and go somewhere else. What engine parts are you needing?

If you know the year (1997 from what you said) then it doesn't matter what Autozone says because when they look for parts in their computer system there is a drop down menu with make, model, year, body type and engine. The employees don't need to know anything because the computer tells them what they need to know as far as parts go.

Are you talking about an air intake? Just buy a cheapo short ram with a quality filter.

I believe Neuspeed makes a short shifter, some other companies also. There are also a couple of short shifter DIY"s here on the site. And if you didn't know already CB's short shifters don't have shorter rods, they just make your throw shorter. If you want an actual shorter rod then you will have to do it gangster style and cut it down.
