Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

A/C CB3 in CB7

    A/C CB3 in CB7

    Hi Guys!!!
    I Crash my CB7 93 (F22A6) and... i broken the condenser, fan condenser and... hoses and cooling lines.
    In my country... the NEW Air condenser OEM cost U$S 1300...

    Well i found a CB3... With F20... No SRS

    Is possible change the A/C System (Condenser, hoses and lines) and put in my CB7??

    I have got a F22 Compressor.

    are they both the LHD or RHD?

    Most likely everything should work just fine. The compressors might be different between the two but i highly doubt the hookup point on the condenser is different. The soft lines going to the compressor MIGHT be different if the compressor is different. You will just need to keep an eye out

    SRS won't make any difference since our airbag sensors are located on the inside of the car along the firewall.

      I would go on-line and log onto online OEM parts store like Majestic Honda. Check for part numbers and compare of the two cars to see if two compressors are the same part number or not, along with other parts you need.

      You could eliminate guessing work.

        Majestic Honda is just a Honda dealership in the US. They will not have CB3 part numbers.

        The parts should be interchangeable. The only issue will be, as tippey said, if the steering wheel is on different sides between the two cars. To my knowledge, all CB7s are LHD, and all CB3s are RHD... but I'm not an expert.

          Well, I was not aware of CB3 being RHD. But still, my idea maybe valid that there may be an web site in his country where he could check part numbers on both cars, provided that CB7 and CB3 are sold from authorized Honda dealers in Argentina.

            They both are LHD. All imported CB3 to Argentina are LHD with engine F20xx.

            I search and found it... the compressor aren't the same...
            38810-PT6-A04 is for CB7 aaaaaand...
            38810-PT0-013 is for CB3...
            Weeeeeeeeeell... i will going to search more to find the condenser, hoses, cooling lines, and fan condenser to CB7 93.

            A/C CB3 in CB7 not work with F22 compressor and F22 condenser.

                Just because the compressor is different doesn't mean the condenser is different. I would take a look at the two cars and see how similar they are before you give up.
