ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The h22 head ports doesn't match up with your f22 block you just wasting your time and money u better off just doing a full h22 swap I think u need to do alil more research before u do anything

People need to do actually research on the f23 ( Research everything really) it's not a bad head design the usdm f22b isn't to great.

VTEC on the intake ports only is enough to make me want to stay away.

OP, don't waste your time and money with a headswap. The simple fact that you had to make this thread tells me that you don't know enough to make it work reliably, and there's nothing the internet is going to tell you to make you learn otherwise. Try it if it's a project that you don't mind blowing up... but otherwise, it's not worth it.
Plus, the gains will be MAYBE 5-15hp. Tops. Not worth the increased reliability risk. If you want an engine that will fail soon after you modify it, at least get some real gains. Slap a turbo on that stock block and blow it up in style.

so swaping the motor is way easier than replacing heads i know so i guess ill just get a h22a and it should just bolt and plug up hopefuly

And with that comment you've made it clear that you still have yet to read anything other than the responses in this thread. But I guess if the responses here have been enough to steer you away from a headswap then it has been beneficial.

ive done the h23 head swap and it made more power but i had consumption issues, even had the head resurfaced (which actually got me hired in a machine shop lol)

i eventually tore the head back off and put it back to stock. my friends liked the way it accelerated.
