Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    obd1 or obd2

    i know this might be a stupid question, but whats the diffrence between obd1 and 2? but on the same motor type

    The computer knows more on obd2. Its just a newer more in control computer that can tell you more stuff.We are obd1. We like obd1.

      other then the diffrent computers, there pretty much the same

        Computer, injectors, distributor. Those are the things you need to change to convert from OBD2 to OBD1.

          What about the resistor box or what ever that thing on the drivers shock tower, Isnt it for the obd1 injectors and the obd2 injectors dont need it

              The motor is OBD1 and the car is OBD1, why are you even asking about OBD2?

              And why do you have two very similar threads going at the same time?

                Yes, OBD2 injectors don't need it... but it's best to use OBD1 injectors and retain the box.

                  1! thread is to figure out HOW to wire vtec, knock sensor..
                  2! i trying to figure out what one is better, obd1 or obd2 h22a.. their damn near the same price but i was trying to figure whats all diffrent

                    OBD isn't always an indicator of the injectors resistance.

                    The 96-97 OBD2 Accord injectors are also low impedance 240cc just like the 90-93 injectors.

                    In order to tell if your injectors need a resistor box. You measure the resistance.

                    2-3 Ohm = low impedance (peak and hold) require resistor
                    11-13 Ohm = high impedance (saturated) do not require resistor.

                      I showed you how to wire all that crap up and you want to stay obd1.
                      There are tons of threads showing everything you need to do this swap in the swap section. Read up. It will only help you from asking stupid questions...

                        Watch out... he might call you some nasty names. He's too lazy to actually read the information he needs, even the stuff that was very kindly put in "sticky" form for his convenience since, oh, I don't know... 2003!
