ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Chipped Ecu problems

So I have a chipped p28 for my F20b. Got it yesterday put it in the car and it wouldn't run it. it would just stumble and die. So they said they set it up for 310cc inj. So I put my obd2 injectors in that are 310cc and still the same thing. But here is the kicker I can run the car off a pt3 with no problem it will idle and rev up and everything. So could the base map actually not have the proper tune on it. or am I missing something. I am also not throwing any cel's with either ecu.

This is the ecu I got by the way

Are you running those saturated injectors with a resistor box?

I would say that you should get a proper tune or pay for a better base map.

Not really. The only person who mess with honda ecu's I can trust is really busy and hard to get in touch with.

With nobody to tune your ECU locally, you should just stick to a stock ECU. Of course, that's tough with the F20B... a P13 would run it better than an improperly tuned chipped ECU. Basemaps are good only to get an engine running and ready to tune... nothing more (and that's if they're good enough to get it running in the first place!)

I have a p13 and it will not run the car. But I got my buddy to come down who has a f20b with the same setup practically and used his ecu and it ran my car like a dream. The f20 power band feels amazing.

When you swapped to the 310cc did you splice the injectors power wire at the resistor box?
Also did you set your tps?
                  Any CEL?

I had a spare resistor box and the the wires at the resistor and solder all five wires together. And then plugged it into my harness.
