ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    ESP cant help me!!

So as you guys know my tranny won't won't in my set up . I'm super bummed and called John at ESP.and he says he doesn't do that special mount for my h2a5 tranny to worn in my wagon that was auto. Is there any other solution for my problem?? Thank you

Why was there another thread created for this issue? And omit the desperation through punctuation. It's bad enough to whine, but to type it is off-putting.

Your transmission is an H2A5 that came in '90-'93 Accord DX/LX sedans and coupes. It's mount and subsequent bolt pattern on the housing for the mount should all be the same. Scratch that, the transmission mount on any manual transmission Accord is the same Honda part number. So that means if you have an automatic CB body and a CB manual transmission then the ESP mount should work. Are all of your other mounts original CB mounts?

My car was auto and I called EsP and he said that he only does mounts for auto to manual using an H series tranny or 94 and up trannies. Im going to work on the rear mount to see if it helps. I'm currently using an Ex model mount and bracket so I'm planning ofn using a lx bracket that I have. My question is can I use the ex rear mount with my lx bracket?? And my apologies with my puntuation but I'm not fluent in English.

I have the esp mounts, the rear motor mount should be your only issue. If u have a ex,se or exr the t bracket does not work. You would have to get the lx or dx t bracket. Also if you have a prelude tranny that should work too.You would have to move one stud.I believe there is a tread about that here.

what accord did the H2A5 come from?

Sounds like you are missing alot of things you need. You need the dx/lx rear mount and bracket.

Perhaps at this point you should cut off the auto bracket and weld on the Accord manual trans bracket.

I think o found the solution. Cb7 tuners correct me if I'm wrong. Before I decided to change the transmission I was running a manual One of a 95lx that fitted perfectly no modifications were needed.I was using the 95 lx tranny mount which was longer as you can see on my previous thread so my salvation will be if its possible .I would like to change the tranny shell to use me 94 lx shell with the h2a5 internals. My question is if they are compatible? Note both of them came out of lx models 91/95. Will it work so I can use my old mount and call it a day??

This project will get much more difficult if you try to swap transmission internals to solve a mount issue.

You can order a manual transmission bracket from Honda or you can get one from the junkyard with a power drill that has a cut-off wheel on it. That will be much less difficult than where your mind is taking you now.

The only problem is that I don't have power in my garage to do any weldings or money to get it towed to a welder

there are welders that will come to you. For example, there is a guy local to me who will come to you and weld anything you need done for $75 an hour. Yes he is a professional with a fully equipped welding rig. Thats a deal if you ask me, may take him half an hour to do the job.

                      Just a thought.
