ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    f22 a series oil pumps.

as im building this f22 turbo engine,or shall i say starting fresh and trying it again.. im wondering about oil pumps. how well do the stock oil pumps work for turbo applications? or are there any higher flowing or performance pumps out there for our f22a series engines?

I installed a Endyn oil pump in my H.
"Modified engines require oiling systems that are up to the task of supplying lubrication in demanding high rpm applications.

Our oil pump modifications reduce pump cavitation at extreme engine speeds and increase output by reducing losses, netting more power at the crank. Each pump is machined to achieve minimum rotor to case clearances, by-pass valves are clearanced to prevent binding, inlet and outlet passages are bored to larger diameters, tapered, radiused, and back-filled."

Do some research to learn about the advantages of them. I've seen others simply use the OEM pump, depends on the HP you're going for too.

I'm pretty sure there's a DIY on modding the OEM pump for more flow on here somewhere, I've read it before.

I believe it was HondaFan81 that used a Toda oil pump, a brand that is supposed to be very good, and it failed on him. I may be wrong, but I think that's who and what it was...
Be sure to do plenty of research on whatever pump you choose. Maybe even look up the Members Rides threads of the members with the most powerful engines on this forum (there's a thread listing them in the Turbo section) and see what they're running.

That's the one great thing about tuning a fairly common car... someone has probably done whatever it is you want to do already, so there's almost always a point of reference!

when i build my motor i used a brand new OEM honda oil pump. The important thing is to have a high quality OEM or Fluid Dampr crank pulley. It absorbs the vibration that destroys oil pumps.
