Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    car vibrates while driving

    ol guys i'm completely confused about this one. I just resently change my clutch in my cb but now the car vibrates while driving. really bad when i turn left. I replaced the axles the intermediate shaft. The wheel bearing was replace on the left side so that cancels that. The ball joint is good. what am i missing guys

    Have you checked all the motor mounts and tranny mounts?

    Judging from my girlfriends 07 Civic, a motor mount doesn't start to show signs of failure. It just fails.

        Yeah I'm sure the wheels ate torqued down correctly. But I need to check out the rear motor mount. I've replace all the other mounts before

          I would suggest rotating the tyres (front to rear) and see the effect.

          I suggest this just to eliminate the tyres (and rim) as the culprit.

          Sometimes tyres become warped as they get older and may contribute to the vibration.

            Along with JDMs suggestion to rotate the tires, also really look at the tires... If you have cheap tires they can be prone to seperation of tread from tire, and this will definatey cause viibration, I've seen it too many times on too many vehicles

              He should have steel radials which would not have a retread on it. Even a $60 tire has steel radials. Trailer tires are the only tires I know of that get retreaded. It's possible a weight may have come off the wheel and thrown everything off balance but I highly doubt the tire is separating.

                Burton, I thought the same thing till about two years ago when I started seeing more and more seperation issues on car tires. A good example is the Firestones that Walmart sells that Firestone won't.

                    but did the tires do it before the clutch change? maybe its a bad axle ive gotten bad axles before, i changed suspension ball joints tie rods just to find out it was the brand new axle i just put in spent allot of money for nothin
