ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    96 f22b1..

I'm swapping my 278,xxx f22a1 out of my 91 coupe(m/t) with a 96 f22b1 with an a/t wire harness and I'm using my f22a tranny manual tranny... I have new f22a mounts and a new POA ecu. What else do I need(to do)? Do I need to switch my old wire harness of my a1 to my b1 or? Will that work? I'm searching n searching... any comments or advice would be great.

Have you read through the link below?

Can I ask why you are swapping for the less desirable F22B1?

Yes I've read that thread but I think darkcloud had a manual wire harness where as my harness on the b1 is for an auto tranny... and im swapping cause my a1 needs work..oil leaks cracked header needs rebuild..

You don't use the harness from the 96. You NEVER use the harness from the donor car. You ALWAYS use the CB7's harness. In every common swap there is.

Oil leaks, and a cracked header are reasons for a rebuild? If you plan on re-using the m/t then you should use the harness for a m/t and compare them to see which plugs are different. You will need to run a line to the VTEC solenoid. You using an internal or external coil?

Only because THAT particular info isn't in THAT thread, I'll help. Once. You need an OBD1 P0A ECU, OBD1 dizzy and OBD1 injectors. Search the threads if you need more info than this.

You kno you couldve pm'd me.

I didnt put in certain parts because its common sense once the motor is in, use the cb engine harness, use the f22a injectors, no conversion harness is needed, use the obd1 dizzy internal or external works fine. there just isnt an mount for the external coil.
