ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

seafoam in vacum line

I personally would recommend using the sea foam in the fuel/intake system only... use a good oil (rotella t6 in my car) that cleans slowly, but all of the time. oil today is good enough that you don't have to ruin it with other crap that was engineered in the 60's for boat motors.
im not bashing seafoam, i will do the vacuum line deal... i do use better fuel additives though like redline si-1 or chevron techron.'94 CD5 EX F22B1 Automatic

when I seafoamed it was cool, had the motor running, let it slowly pour into the brake booster vac line to the point of almost killing the motor about half a can and the last bit i let it kill the motor. let it sit about 30 mins. came back out (it was dark by then) and fired it up. The thing chugged like a locomotive like maybe 100 RPM lol.. cracked the throttle then she ran fine and smoked like a diesel truck..white smoke though.. Then i got outta my neighborhood and hit the country road and ran the piss outta her for like 15 mins..till the smoke stopped..you gotta be on it for the smoke and shit to come out. I rolled to a stop light when it turned green mid intersection I romped it and left a big ole cloud of thick smoke hovering in the intersection. anyway.. since Ive done that I dont get the black soot on my bumper, that I usually had all the time even after washing it off itd be back within the week..been a year now and its not back.. So its a quick cheap fix for carbon and crud build up in the intake passages.. Ive ran it in my crankcase and thru the fuel also but no big differences like the intake tract treatment.
oh I also did the same deal on my gf's Corsica except I used marvel mystery oil.. same results as the accord..except her turd went back to its bad ways within a week. I will try the MMO treatment on my car this time around when I get to wrenching under the hood. the MMO was about half as much for a quart compared to seafoam and does the same thing apparentlyLast edited by illinois_erik; 04-08-2012, 12:03 PM.
