ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    f22b2 problem

hello ever body im not new to this site so i now whats up i just finshed a f22b2 swap on a cb7 90 dx accord was hopeing to get some help i got the motor out a 96 accord and im using a f22a dizzy and the car runs like shi* it ever thing hook up but one plug that gos down by the oil pump need help please happy to be back

Your not new to the site but you posted a tech question in the appearance section...lol j/k

That 4 wire plug is for the OBD2 TDC and CKP sensors. If you're running the OBD1 distributor and have the sensors hooked up there. The ones down on the oil pump housing don't matter.

What is the health of the swapped motor, compression test?

Sorta, but ones OBD1 and the other is OBD2. And I believe the heads are different.....but I could be wrong.

A side from being OBD1 & OBD2 they are mechanically the same. Yes the heads are a bit different as well. However the complete rocker assembly and cams can be interchanged.

It is, but it isn't. It might not be hooked up correctly.

So glad i saw this thread I am on the verge of completion with a f22b2 swap and now I am wondering if my dizzy is hooked up right or not. So if the OPs isnt hooked up correctly, how should the dizzy be hooked up? and OP how is your dizzy hooked up currently?

Ghostaccord will have to help you on that one, I'm not fully versed with the F22B1/2.

If you are using the original F22A OBD1 distributor with the CB OBD1 harness. I can't see how it wouldn't be hooked up correctly. I said I wasn't sure if the timing of the distributor was exactly the same as the F22B1. Might have to so some timing adjustments.

Check the firing order and see if you can get a timing light to check if it may be off a few degrees.
