ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Junk yard tips

I'm heading to the junk yard tomorrow for a special. Whatever I can carry out is $50 for everything. I need a new downpipe, driver window motor and heater blower. Anyone recommend any other parts to grab. Also, a tool list would be really appreciated.

if it is all you can carry for $50, I would bring bungy cords to strap things to you to carry!!

You always want your 10,12,14,17mm wrenches/sockets, hammer, pliers screwdrivers and of course WD40.

Grab whatever your car NEEDS, then I would worry about the things you WANT.

I'm starting to look for anything emissions control related. If you live in a place with stringent SMOG tests, not passing can keep you from driving.

Nice to have spare controls and little parts like valves and sensors on hand.

Any fogs (OEM for any Honda goes for a decent amount) if ur lookin to make money, also rare things like CF hood or trunk, oem/Mugen parts, etc. For the cb7 get whatever it needs. Leather interior parts, fogs, sidemarkers, anything rare. Main relays and distributors. Always can use extra's of those. Legend lip, if they allow i'd carry out some rims xD lmao oh and red clear tails.

Bring the biggest backpack you have. You can use it for tools and small parts, and still have both hands free to carry the big stuff.

x2, if you can try to get one of the hiking backpacks with a frame (preferably the lighter the better), its obsene how much stuff you can strap to one of those.

Thanks to all. I was gonna bring some tin snips for a rear quarter if I find a decent one, no torches allowed.. Bungy cords either. I was going to cut seatbelts from other cars to make straps. If I spot some wheels, he'll yeah imma grab them. Any parts off of other cars besides the legend?

I don't think you'll get a rear quarter off with tin snips. It took a sawzall with three battery packs and four blades to get the donor quarters for mine.

                      Hey guys,
I only know a few JY around my area. Is there a way to look up online of the JY around my area that would have online inventory check? All of the CBs at my nearby JY are all stripped.
