ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

We need all the numbers and the co2 % number.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

So check the o2 sensor to be sure its not bad? I have no CEL. Wouldnt i have one if the o2 sensor is faulty?

Post all your numbers and info from smog. Because it can be a number of things or something simple.

"Guaranteed to Pass" - You should read the fine print on the back of thoes bottles. It clearly states; warranty only valid if all emission components are fully functioning. If all emisssion components are fully functional why would you need that? Beside there is no magic fix in a bottle.

Best one that I've heard is to add is rubbing alchohol to the gas tank.

Seems like its misfiring. Judging by the high Co numbers andthenox.

The nox was fine, he tested high on hc and co on the 50/15. It could be a missfire but he did fine on the 25/25 so I'd rule that out.

I'm not to experienced with a 50/15 test since in ontario we only run the 25/25, but your alloweble limits in georgia are pretty high compared to ontario on the 25/25.

Juding by your high hc and co on the 50/15 test 50% weight at 15mph seems like you oxygen sensor is fubar, remember gas cool the cylinder bores thus your lower noX number, and high hc/co, your running rich. 50% weight is about 870ish kg at 15mph is a lot of load, the engine has to work hard.

Someone more experience on a 50/15 test can provide better knowledge, I only do 25/25, and looking at your 25/25 everything seems normal other then the nox is around 458 which seems high(a bit lean) to me since in ontario our nox limit is about 400 compared to you 910, eitherway you passed that.

id agree, when my o2 was going out on my civic it would only turn the CEL under a 50/15. cruising around the street the car ran okay however it would idle low.

LOL I read it wrong, I stand corrected.

but 458 being lean for nox isnt right. If it was truely lean it would be much higher MUCH higher.
