ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Thats what I've been trying to tell you this entire time, bro. And you see how dude in the vid was removing them bolts? Thats exactly how you have to do it.

Well, when you are unemployed, I would prefer cooler weather. We are humans and we always want what we don't have. I can't complain as some of you guys are suffering from horrible winters. The only thing bad about SoCal is those unpredictable earthquake which I hope I'll never have to experience. I have felt the little ones a few times and even those are scary as you can't control your surroundings. I have to be on a sun diet. It's bad for my skin as I am getting older. Lol.

I was over in Denver in 2009 for 2 weeks. I love the weather at that time. I think it was September. As soon as I get out of the airport, it was cool but yet warm temperature. The air is super fresh compare to here dude. I hate to travel b/c every time I get back, I get sick for a week from this polluted air. I love it in Denver. Very nice city and the traffic isn't bad at all. But the economy does not look hotter than here. The shopping are almost always empty compare to here.

That cover is just a cover. You have to remove the air bag, steering wheel, blinker assembly, ignition switch, etc. Don't pay any attention to that 5 and 12 bullshit.

Where I circled in black, those bolts need to be removed in order for you to remove the entire piece once you get to it. It looks as if the brackets were just cut in the pic but yeah you have to remove the bolts.
Yeah it was off a car I was scrapping, so i cut the brackets, theyre like headless bolts, so when I do use that ignition im sure most of the time spent swapping will be getting those out, I imagine Ill just cut a slot into the head with my dremel and a cut off wheel and use a big screwdriver to get them out. They might even be pressed in rivets Glad the pic could help

Thanks for the pic. Could you see if you could scrap a working fuel pressure regulator? I have a 90 Accord LX 4AT Sedan.

              Thanks.

Yeah Denver is my city bro its alright for sure. The weather is actually pretty tight for the most part, the seasons are actual seasons and shit. And yeah I could imagine the difference in air quality lol, I know Cali has major traffic problems. But yeah, Cali is way bigger so shit is always going to be packed as far as shopping and shit. It gets pretty packed here during the holidays and summer months though.

What does that piece look like and where is it located?

This is what my ignition looked like after it got stolen.

When mine got stolen I had to replace the steering column cover and then the ignition module itself.

So if your car has ever been stolen you would probably have a different key for your ignition then your doors unless a previous owner payed a locksmith to match them somehow.

I had to use a flat head screw driver to start it until I got it fixed.

                    It looks like this:
                    http://www.ebay.com/itm/190591680685...=p5197.c0.m619

It lays right on the fuel rail. If you look from the front of the car onto your engine bay, it's to the right. If has a vacuum hose on it and another bigger rubber hose on it. It's bolted to the fuel rail by 2 10mm I think. Be gentle, it does not take much to remove the bolts.
                    Thanks.

Just an update guys. I was replacing my PS fluid and at first I forgot to put the key in after I jacked the front end up and it lock about a half of a turn of the steering wheel. I guess I thought it didn't b/c my Corolla only need 1/8 of a turn to lock.

Damn, you make me feel like i should take my ignition out and move it some where else. I've been thinking about these kill switches lately. But damn, they screwed that up horribly.
