Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    vtec question

    hey guys,
    i'd like to ask if a v-tech head fit on a f-22 a1 block? it migjht sound dumb but is was just thinking out loud.

      Yes it will but with some serious modification. And if you have to ask if it can be done your probally not ready to do what needs to be done.

            Frankenstein motors are dumb, use the head that goes with the block, there is a reason why they made a different head for each block(in most cases) if the block was made for the head... they would have put that head on it

              This has been addressed over and over and over and OVER and OVER on this forum. Your "h" clearly works fine, but is your search button broken?


              Will a VTEC head fit? Yes. The F22B1 head will fit easily enough, and it is a piece of crap head that is worse in terms of performance than your current F22A head. All other VTEC heads are matched to a larger cylinder bore, so they will not fit without the risk of a detonation-inducing ridge in the combustion chamber. Also, the F22A's compression ratio is very low, and the redline is not very high... so you would not be making much power with a VTEC headswap.

              Now, because you're too lazy to search, and I abide by my own rules (simply telling someone to search is against the rules here), you just wasted MY time instead of your own to answer this question. Next time, try searching. I know this question has been answered about 2 dozen times in the past year... because I've answered it myself each time. The answer doesn't change.
