ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Mr. Gasket wheel spacers

hey guys. Spring is around the corner and I'm going to get ready to put my SI wheels on. I need to get me some wheel spacers first. I have an auto parts store not to far from my house that sells some Mr. Gasket wheel spacers. But I am not too sure if they are reliable. Has anyone tried mr. gasket spacers?

Mr. Gasket is an old company with a good reputation. I'd say they're a hell of a lot better than some no-name "tuner" spacers from eBay. Then again, I don't like spacers at all... they put unnecessary stress on the hubs.

I wouldn't recommend using wheel spacers on factory studs, you really should use extended studs....but it you do decide to use some don't use anything bigger than 5 mm on factory studs or else you run a high risk of your wheels falling off. The balance of your wheels might get thrown off with spacers also.

Spacers are spacers. More than likely they are all made by topline. It dosent matter who I get them from, unless they are hub centric specific application, they all look, feel, and work the same. I have put on nearly a thousand of them ( that's not a typo 1000) and have never had a issue with stock studs or wheel shake. Anything over 5 mm I run shank lugs with them. I've had a set of half inchers behind the 26s on the shop Burban for years. Airbags on it and all towing a 24 foot sea ray deck boat with no issues

If they aren't hub centric than they will most likely throw the balance off, I say this because the spacer hangs before you put the wheel on. I know from personal experience
