Yes the F series engine is an interference engine. If the timing belt breaks or slips while driving you can possibly bend a valve or two. Note: These engines do not have push rods.
If you want to verify if you bent a valve you should perform a compression test. Better yet, do a leak down test on each cylinder. This test would be better to verify if you have a valve that is bent and on what side, intake or exhaust.
