ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

its either upside down, or you have left and right mixed up
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

you still have the bumper on, the headlight is designed to be removed from the vehicle with the mounting braket after the front bumper is removed.

If you look a WEE bit harder the bracket is still there, he removed JUST the light. You only have to remove the bumper if you want the bracket to come with it, which obviously he didnt.

OP that white/yellow piece opens up like a clam shell, if you open it you can see there's a groove inside of it for the ball to sit in. If you open it and it breaks at the hinge, dont trip, it will still work. You have to press the spring down to allow the ball to slip into the right spot, then you slip the other piece on to close it. Then you slide it back into the headlight. If it doesnt fit flush, spin the piece 180 degrees. If you need pics I can probably take some to describe it. I just went thru this when I blackhoused my headlights.

I appreciated for your help but i finally got that white/yellow piece back in place ( take me an hour to compress the springs by my hand) . I guess it would be easier if i didnt break the little thing that hold the clam shell together.

Before i registered here , i didnt know that we have to remove the bumper first before we can reach to the headlights so thats why i only removed the lights by itself by removing 4 screws ( two on each side/bottom) . I cant believe its very simple to take the whole bumper out by only 2 nuts and 4 bolts. Anyways, here are a few pics that i took it while im doing it. Again , thanks for all the helps guys.

Also want to show off my other two toys

My next project will be the endlinks ( already found the DIY link for this fix) then replaced all the struts around.

They look just fine. As for the sway bar bushings, its the only other thing connected to your swaybar to the body of the car.
