ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Exhaust question/issue

Having a rough time with my exhaust, not really rusty, just falling apart in places. Rather than replace pieces at a time, I found this...

    http://rochester.craigslist.org/pts/2773898396.html

Homeboy cant spell, but cant really turn this one down. Now most of you would know alot better than me, but any idea if this is what I need??

He said it'll fit 90-99, and it looks similar to what i've seen under my car, and for this price, it's a steal. Thanks in advance for any and all help, guys.

You should ask him what year accord did it come off from. 90-93 94-97 98-01 accords are all different, but can fit with some modding and welding. I would just buy a new one off ebay for a more accurate fit.

Did ask, he said "it'll fit anything from 90-99", which wasnt very helpful...

      *edit* asked again, it's from a 96

If it's from a 96 I wouldn't get it and the muffler looks like it would be a little loud unless that's what you want. Also, what parts from your exhaust are falling apart the piping, muffler, cat, or header? There's some better exhaust systems out there, but I'm more of a quality person myself.

I would just buy a new one off ebay for a more accurate fit. Its pretty expensive for a used one, you can get a catback for like $110 and header for $75 new on ebay. Otherwise lowball him/her and mod it to fit.

I would, but its the midpipe/flange thats leaking, or rotting out. i want loud, and raspy, but right now, it's just loud, and sounds ghetto, with all the "pffft" coming from the flange. I'm about quality also, but paying $400+ to have a whole new system bent/installed in not what I can afford. I've seen the eBay catbacks, almost thought about buying one, but def need more than that now

*edit* apprently not, I've been looking at them again, and it looks like the part i need would be covered by the catbacks I've been seeing. Thanks for your help, guys, a second look at eBay is just what i needed

i believe that header has a 0-00-0 pattern where your head has a 0-0-0-0 pattern.
