ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Audi S200 Turbo

I am able to get a turbo out of a s200 audi i will get the code when i go back tomorrow but if anyone knows now would it work with the dsm setup. It aligns up with the bolt holes on the dsm manifold the wrong way though. If i could make a plate would i beable to make it work with the manifold by aligning up the ports for the most part. But the only reason i ask is i can get it for free. So my question is can i make this turbo work? I don't know if any of you are getting what i am saying but I don't know how to explain better.

Chances are slim that the turbo will bolt to the DSM manifold without modification. DSMs use Mitsubishi turbos, whereas an Audi most likely uses something else, such as BorgWarner.

From what I can find, it was mated to a 2.2L I5... so it's likely to be at least as good, if not better, than the commonly used Mitsubishi 14b, which was on the 2.0L 4G63.

Yea it came off a 1992 s200. It bolts on the mani sideways. So if I could make a plate for it I think I could make it work I hope so anyway.

How much are you getting it for

What is better about it than any of the widely available + proven turbos for our cars

A functional 14b is relatively inexpensive. For the cost and effort needed to make this Audi turbo work, you could probably find a 14b and not have to worry about any fabrication whatsoever. It's up to you if you want to make this one work just for the sake of being creative, or if you just want to boost your motor the easiest way possible. The end result will be the same in terms of your car's performance, assuming you can bolt this thing up with no issues.
