ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Turbo?

Now I know this sounds kinda dumb...but I'm a beginner so go easy on me. Lol. If I wanted a turbo, what would I have to get?

Also, is it smart to do an engine swap?

We have an entire section on forced induction (90% of the conversation there is about turbo), and an entire section on engine swaps. Rather than spoon-feed you such an immense amount of information, I suggest you spend some time reading those sections. Come back here and ask when you've learned a bit, and have a question that's a bit more specific.

If you want it done right the 1st time you need $$. But turbo on a budget is still doable but not recommended on your daily driven car but that doesn't mean that some folks haven't done it or are doing it.

Just FYI, if you're looking to turbo your car and have it be reliable be prepared to fork out 2-3g's minimum. Can always go the Ebay route though if you don't care too much about the car and it's a beater. lol

That's a bit steep on pricing. Maybe 1-1.5k. You can use bolt ons and minor internals to get a low psi for daily use

I could build a turbo system for $500 using junkyard parts. It's been done plenty of times.

However, how long it will last is a completely different story.

Thats the stock gauges from a GE8 2009+ Honda Fit. Also I thought you had 180k on the fit Deev? Wishing you could roll the odometer back?

He would just be taking oem turbo parts off other cars (from a junkyard), and "finessing" them to fit on his car.

I'll be rolling over 220,000 tomorrow.

The sig is photoshopped to say "80085" ("BOOBS")
I didn't think of taking the picture when it was actually at that mileage, sadly.

Now please, back on topic. If you have an off-topic to ask a member directly, please just PM that member. It is VERY rude to take someone's thread off track like that.
