ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Best Exhaust system for our cb's

i have already used the search button, couldnt find the thread that had a list of good systems,. so my question is, whats the best performance exhaust for my F22a6??? what brands and if you know what price?... Thank you.

How hard did you search? I've gone through the top 3 systems at least a dozen times myself... one of those times was about 3 days ago.

    Apexi World Sport 2
    Greddy SP
    RS*R ExMag

Those are reputed to fit the best, and all three have a muted tone that won't make you sound like a ricer.

There are other options, and some of those options are very good (Magnaflow, Tanabe, etc..) but the best reviews always seem to go to the three listed above.

Any decent exhaust system is going to provide the same gains power-wise, so you should be most concerned with fit, tone, and quality.

The price may have gone up... I believe it used to be available for $450, but that may have changed. You may find a deal on ebay... just be sure the seller is reputable so you know you're buying the real deal.

yea lol, i am trying to stay away from ebay, ive seen what happens when u hit or miss. and i got on greddys web site and it didnt show the sp for our car. but ebay would be better than what i have now, previous owner has a frankinstein hack job done, holes all through it, and rust hole on the down pipe right before o2 sensor, messing up everything.

You could have a custom exhaust system made for less then the cost of the sp2. You could always get the cheap catback from ebay, and have a muffler shop weld on a different muffler and/or add some resonators. Remember not to mix metals either, it causes what I believe is called galvanic corrosion (meaning it will rust super fast after getting wet).

I have been researching about the best exhaust setup for our cars as well and i viewed a thread somewhere around here that shared a link to another website. The website had the Apexi WS2 listed for $384. Finding that thread may help u out alot, instead of spending $500 on another site. I wish i could find it myself lol cuz i was planning to buy it.
                  RIP '91 LX.
