ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What do you mean by "stutters". What RPM is "low RPM"?
The info regarding checking the CEL code can be found in the thread marked "read here first" (which you obviously didn't.)

have you messed with your dizzy at all. if so it might need timed. and it could be mutiple problems how does it stutter. does it stutter all the time? it helps if you give more discriptive about what its doing its hard to diagnose a car over the internet.

well did you do it? and if you did, did you put a timing light on it to make sure everything was timed right? if your car is out of timimg it will run like crap

When i tried to get the codes for the cel the abs light came on and blinked 4 short then pause then 2 short. The cel wont blink only the abs.

I'm going to try to check the timming. I marked the dizzy when removed maybe i got it wrong.

But its weird it will do it when you first start it for about 1-2 seconds then it will do it randomly while driving.

Don't touch your dizzy, and your cap & rotor won't cause a stutter, signs of a bad dizzy or cap would be more into how long will it take your car to start or even a missfire during start up...

Timing , don't adjust it, running too lean or too rich won't make it stutter just burn fuel, and horrible MPG.

Most likely and I mean 80% of the time its your O2 sensor , it might be going out and throwing a CEL......signs usually show bogging stuttering or hesitation during low or.mid rpms 1.5-4.5 and would not go away till you let off the gas and gently slowly press the gas again, almost hearing backfires while it occurs....

If it ain't your Oxygen sensor then please check for spark in your wires, better than checking the cap or dizzy plus messing with the timing , I don't care if you mark it , its still going to be way off so always use a gun if you decide to just remove it bro.

I was thinking it was the o2 sensor and was going to replace that before anything. I am getting bad mpg.

                  Spark from dizzy is good.
