ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Rough Idle

I changed the front brake lines yesterday, Ten I test drove it and everything it was fine. Then like 30min later I went to the store but when I started my car it had a rough idle (500-700) . I checked the spark plug wires, oil, coolant and everything seems fine. My dad thinks that its bad gas and I had like 3-4 gallons left in the tank so he thinks that my car is sucking in the bad gunk in the gas filter. I added some fuel injector cleaner today and the rough went up now its (800) yesterday morning it was (900-950). When i drive its kind of rough but as I go up in gears it drives perfectly fine (Automatic). Thanks

Adjust your idle (the instructions are in the stickies) and see if it still does it. Did you do the lines in the wheel arches or all the lines in the engine bay?

Just the 1 line in the wheel arch that connects to the brake caliber

That shouldn't have anything to do with it. If you were active in the engine bay, you could've hit a brake line. That would have messed with you idle.

It will, but I usually drive till almost E. I used to fill up at 15.5 gallons, I've generally moved it down to 14.
I changed the FF because I was bored. I think it's an idle issue (fuel filter would still give you issues at speed), but if you want to change it, feel free.

You doing your brakes and a rough idle arent connected, just sounds like a coincidence. Are you gettings any CEL's? Have you checked your plugs/wires/dizzy?
