ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Follow this thread and tell us the code, then we can help.

When the car stutter, were you pushing the gas pedal to speed it up? If yes, your EGR ports and valve might be blocked. Check the codes first.
Also when did you change your fuel filter?

Thats your 02 sensor, replace it with a Denso or NGK/NTK ONLY, not Bosch.

WTF? He just said hes throwing a CEL 43, o2 sensor. Theres no need for this suggestion, its clear he needs to replace his 02 sensor BEFORE any of your suggestions.

Code 43 is an o2 sensor code (as stated above), and a bad o2 sensor will cause stuttering, bogging, etc.. whatever you want to call it.

If the o2 sensor doesn't fix the problem, then yes, your suggestions are good ones. I just want to make sure the guy takes the proper steps before tearing into his car. 43 DEFINITELY means o2 sensor, so that is step #1. If he messes with other things first, without fixing the known problem, he may just create more problems in the process!

This is what you said the first time, you said it should be one of your suggestions, nothing about it being the o2 sensor.

Its one thing to add your experience, but it clearly looked like you were contradicting the correct suggestion with your own. We just dont want people going out and spending money on something thats not going to fix the issue. The ECU says hey fix your damn o2 sensor, and you are telling him to clean his plugs, get new wires, and to tear apart his dizzy. Thats why deev and I said something.

Just be sure you can get the correct brand. Most autoparts stores will give you a Bosch sensor... and even though they're made for our cars, they don't work properly.
