Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Megan racing catback system????

    So a buddy of mine is parting out his cb and he offered me his Megan racing 2.25 with 4.5 inch tip catback system for 100. What do you guys think, good deal or no??

    New or used ? if new that might be a good deal. what kind of muffler is it.

      Not sure but the tip says Megan?? It is used. It came off his cb. It would be a complete bolt on right??

        If it was on a CB, yes. Megan Racing isn't anything special... they're basically just one of the better "ebay" brands. Still, if it's in good condition, $100 is a good price.
        I'm not sure if Megan Racing makes a 2.25" pipe... so it may be generic pipe with a Megan Racing axleback (just the muffler, that is.) Still, not a bad deal.

          Yeah I have heard those exhaust and they are not that loud like you would expect from a cheaper name brand. So for a $100 I would get it.

            Hmmm so would it be better to just get a axleback since the pipe might be generic?? would the catback work with my stock down pipe?? Thanks fer the quick replys guys

              If the piping is 2.25, that will do fine. Even so, that plus the megan muffler is a good deal. I'd get it.

              If i hadn't found my Magnaflow full cat-back for an outrageously good price, i would have gone with the Megan pipes...
