tcm code 8

I have a code 8 on my tcm. What does that mean?

its your shift solenoid B. it needs changed ..

Witch one is that. My car shifts perfect and run perfect but I just have the tcm code

If everything is working perfectly, reset the TCU (pull the radio/backup fuse, and/or disconnect the battery for 15-30 minutes.) It may not be a current code. You could also inspect the TCU for damage, as they do occasionally get burnt, causing problems, or reporting problems that don't exist.
Or, possibly, it's reporting a problem that hasn't manifested itself noticeably yet.

What's with the current trend of omitting "to be"? I keep seeing "needs changed", "needs replaced", "needs washed". It baffles me.

It does not need reset. It has done it forever. I think the tcm might be bad but I want to investigate the code its giving me 1st.
If I am getting the code and the flashing S light I can click my key off and click it back on when I am driving and it will go off then just come back on
