ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

A cheap camber kit is EXTREMELY dangerous. You can find crap on ebay for 1/3 the price of a quality kit. They look the same, but they are not. I was stupid enough to buy a $50 kit on ebay, and it broke on me. Not in my driveway... but at 65mph while I was in the left lane of a 3 lane highway at rush hour! Thankfully, a small part of it held on, and I was able to limp home. Had that small part snapped, my wheel would have shot out sideways, sending me skidding into traffic with no front wheel to help control or stop the car. I may have survived, but my car surely would not have... and it would've been a VERY expensive accident.

A new set of tires costs a good deal more than a camber kit. It's an expensive trial and error to rely on. I have no rear camber kit on my car, and AFTER I got an alignment, my rear tires showed signs of cupping. Basically, the tread was uneven. There's no fixing that... and it happened in about 3000 miles.

I see the point and the logic behind it. Perhaps i should save alittle more and invest in a camber kit rather than risk my insurance sky rocket after an accident. Ive been convinced, Thanks Deev

I run no camber kit because I am a boss (but in all reality plan stupid) I prefer the first one helps me sleep at night. But anyways if you drop you car camber kit is the way to go I go through tires like no tomorrow and my car sucks in the rain. because i have no contact patch.

it depends on how much you drop the car. If its 1.5" or less, I would say your fine without a camber kit (my camber numbers are just about in spec), but if its more than that, Id get a camber kit.

Im also one of the members that will not spend any money on my car unless I think it absolutely needs it. I would, without a doubt only get ingalls or spc kits. If any ball joint breaks, YOU HAVE NO CONTROL over your car.
