O.k just put the h22 plunem and throttle body on my a6. My question is does gutting my plunem make a real difference in power. I also have double spacers( not gutted as well). Should I take everything back apart and gut the plunem and spacer or just leave it be. It runs strong as is, but if there's a noticeable difference

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

As for the length and surface area of your runners. It all depends on where your engine makes it's peak tq. Runner length and surface area are both very important. Just opening up a runner or making it longer or shorter will change the characteristics of your tq range. Not always for the better if your cams/engine isn't built for that range. You may have seen some dyno charts fall flat on their face. This is possible reason why!Last edited by GhostAccord; 09-05-2011, 02:37 PM.

Approx. 45-90Ra (60 grit) This will promote a good boundary layer. This boundary layer is what helps keep intake velocity. Keeps the air from sticking to the runner/intake surface.

Thank you for that info guys. I will check my runners again, when I remove my modifed F22B intake manifold ports and I will correct any problems that I might be feeling at certain parts of the engine. I open my ports length wise Right now, I only feel real power when I get on the engine after about 4000 rpms. I learn something everyday from you guys on cb7tuner. I currently have this intake on my engine
I did use a die grinder, but I didn't have the correct porting tool. So, I think this time around at my second engine build go, I will use the right bur to port the manifold. This was done with all my elbow grease and I was really tired after. As they say the right tool is half of the job. I am learning.
I am willing to listen to what you experience engine guys have to say about the modification...How can I make this intake better? If I have a problem
thanksLast edited by Gtseviper; 09-05-2011, 04:32 PM.New paint job and bumper 8/8/11
