Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    PT6 ECU to replace PT3 - what will happen?

    I have all the components to place the A6 runners & IAB, H23 plenum & TB and PT6 ECU in my 90 Accord's F22A4.

    If I exchange only the PT6 ECU for my existing PT3 ECU first, and then don't get around to doing the other mods for a while, what will be the result?

    Will the PT6 adapt and the car will run ok? Run great? Run crappy?
    90 Accord Ex, F22A4. Slight fire damage.

      So the pt6 ecu is better then the pt3 I have a 92 with a f22a1 what ecu I have I want a better ecu

            Why, so you can go over 120mph in your 20 year old beat-to-shit family car on public roads with a maximum speed limit of 65/75 mph? That's a stupid fucking idea.

            The PT6 has a slightly different fuel map for the F22A6 camshaft, as well as controls for the IAB system in the intake manifold. These are things you can add to your F22A4, if you want an extra 10hp or so. It will run fine as it is on the PT6, though it won't be 100% perfect for what you have. Then again, the engine is 20 years old, so wear and tear make it less than perfect already.
