Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Ingalls or SPC. Those are the ONLY camber kits I would trust.
I learned the hard way not to get a cheap kit (a $50 kit is cheap... anything but Ingalls or SPC is cheap.) It broke on me at 65mph during rush hour... normal driving, no hard cornering or anything. I had about 1mm of metal holding my control arm in place. Had that little bit snapped, my wheel would have tucked under my car, and I would have spun out on the highway... causing serious damage to multiple cars, and possibly serious injury to myself and others. I speak from experience. DO NOT GET A CHEAP, LOW-QUALITY CAMBER KIT!
Ingalls and SPC are the ONLY quality kits made for our cars. Better yet, the TASauto.com adjustable upper control arms are amazing (they come with an Ingalls kit installed.) I have them on my car now. Best things ever.

Personally, I would say don't even bother getting a camber kit. Many people think that it's camber that results in your tires wearing out faster, but that is not the case. The real culprit is toe. As long as your toe is set to 0, you will be okay. Yes, some camber will have an effect, but it's not as drastic as you may think. Ask me how I know, I'm dropped more than 3 inches, with no camber kit, on 215/35/18's, and have had absolutely no issues with uneven wear.
Save your money, use it on an alignment, and the rest on something else for your car.

Camber and toe are two separate angles... and they BOTH cause tire wear. Yes, toe causes more drastic wear, and poor toe coupled with negative camber will cause significant wear to the inside of a tire... but negative camber DOES cause noticeable wear, especially in CB Accords that have been lowered more than 2".
Please do not give bad advice, especially in this section. Letting some fool think that the insides of his tires aren't going to wear out faster than the rest when his car is lowered may result in that fool crashing his car. Better to be over-prepared than under-prepared.
Correct your camber. If you choose not to, be sure to keep an eye on the inner edge of your tires... Once it gets low, treat those tires as if they were completely bald... because that inner edge is your primary contact patch.

I'm always glad to see people learning from my mistakes. Suspension is something you really don't want to mess around with.
The unfortunate thing is, a safe suspension can be 5-10x more expensive than an unsafe one... so it's hard to convince people that they need to spend a lot of money to really do it safely.

I've had success with the Progress Anchor Type Camber kit. I'm lowered about 2.5-3" and I still get a good 25k out of my performance ZR rated tires.
They come with upgraded poly bushings so thats like killing two birds with one stone.
I've put on close to 100k miles on it since I've been lowered and the bushings are still good (lowered car back in Aug 05')
Be sure not to tighten them too much though. I ran into that issue on my driverside control arm anchor bolt. I was young and unaware back then that you're supposed to torque them to about 47ft-lbs and stupid me took a breaker bar and tightened the hell out of it. 4 yrs later it started eating into my shock mount from the underside. So I had to get a plate welded in to restore some of the metal that was damaged.
They also make the SPC or Ingalls Balljoint type kits, but beware, if you go too low, the upper control arm will start hitting the inside of the wheelwell area.
