ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Manual seatbelt armrest owners

if you have a manual seatbelt armrest in a 9293 USDM ex with the seat mounted armret then this is who im talking to.

Im planning on installing this armrest into my brothers accord but i need to know what you did with the seat mounted armrest

Now some people will say cut it off it won't make a difference but they would be wrong

The lumbar support adjustment is the knob at the end of the armrest. If i cut the armrest off the knob will be gone.

has anyone actually relocated the knob to the location it sits at on a 9091 EX ( flush mounted on the seat?

Also how big is the nut on the armrest? The manual says its a 24mm nut but its not. I had a 27mm nut on there and it was not big enough. The armrest's nut is almost as big as the axle nut lol

Picture below is how i want to relocate the knob

Did no one actually take the time to relocate the knob?

On the 92-93 LX/EX the lumbar shaft is actually longer than the 90-91 CB's with no seat armrests.

There's actually no way to fit the 90-91 Lumbar style on the 92-93 seat.

One way i was thinking was getting any 90-91 EX seat back (#3 on the diagram for example).
Installing that on the 92-93 bottom.
(Swapping the seat back cover of course. #2 on the diagram)

You can separate the 2 halves.
Honda does not sell assembled seats, you have to buy them by pieces.

Just remember to buy Hog Rings and Hog Ring pliers in order to install the seat cover.
        Easy, but time consuming.
