Hey again everyone, I have a new problem for you! The car is an automatic '91 ex-r.
In different gears at different speeds, my engine will missfire. I'm trying to accelerate when the speed plateaus and starts to sputter and struggle. I lift off the throttle then accelerate a bit faster and sometimes this temporarily fixes the issue, or just downshifting as if I'm overtaking will do it. In traffic I'd be forced to push the throttle and come off it when I know it's going to miss and just repeat the pattern until I can either speed up or come to a stop.
This issue is recurring, but not frequent. I wonder if it's the oxygen sensor, spark plugs or plugged up fuel injectors.
Any ideas?
