ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    h22a rough idle

so i pulled out plug 2-3 and the plugs were black, but 1-4 was as clean as new... it seems like i may be getting a little bit of water out the left side of the tail pipe.. but the car has been sitting for just over a month... but i dont think its from condensation because its only 1 side...
any idea's of what to look at?

As far as the water goes, I've seen in a couple places, even on here, that say the cat produces water. Some members have removed it specifically for that reason. Black plugs generally mean your burning oil in those cylinders, you should go have a leak down test performed to see if your rings are bad.

Well as far as I know, carbon build up on your plugs would be caused by the spark not igniting all of the fuel in those chambers, did you replace the wires and plugs? How are the electrodes on the plugs? Are they still there or are they burnt up? We need more info to help you properly.

Yeah, you can just never know, some people forget to do the small things sometimes. I would look to get a compression test, if you haven't already. Bad rings would be my guess if your getting full spark.

so i found out i have a "bad ecu code" its supposedly a chipped p06, but i heard that it could be that my car is just rejecting the base map for one or another reason. is there a way to fix that or what should i do?

You COULD open the ecu and look for any signs of damage, the person who chipped may have screwed it up, lol or worst case, its not really chipped and your running the wrong ecu.

it is chipped... i can only open 1 side though... damn screws are stripped... but i opened one side and just bent it up a little and made sure it was chipped... and it didnt smell like burnt electronics...
Is there any reason why it would be rejecting the base map?

Ecu's aren't my area, maybe the guy who did it didn't know what he was doing. I would asking in the ecu forum about this issue.
