ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

k20 intake manifold on h/f series

I just recieved news of a dude swaping a k20 manifold on a h23 motor. It gave the motor a better air flow and a gain on high rpms.now my question is if its a good idea to swap it on a f22b1head to give a better flow..will it a help me and give it better easy pick up flow of air.and is it possible to do that swap on a fseries.?

I also heard this, but I heard it was on a H22. Not H23.

    Problems:
    K's spin the other way
K has the intake in the front
H22 bolt pattern is not the same as the F22ax.

it has been done, this intake manifold gives more power than the skunk2 actually

the only downfall is, to use it you need a spacer/adapter which is worth aorund $250 and the manifold itself goes for $300, on top of that, you can either stay with the k series TB, or they sell a spacer for that too

way more money than S2 or euro R, few HP more

it will fit the f22a actually, using the k spacer on a h spacer then on the f22, so technically it fits but at this point a custom manifold will look better and cheaper

S-swap, where in his post does he mention f22a?
intake manifold from a clock-wise spinning engine can be used for a counter-clock wise spinning engine

To add the f22b1 has a different bolt pattern than the F22a an the H23 so regardless if it fits an h23 or F22a.It have to be modified even more to fit the F22b or F23.Now you can use the F23 mani as an upgrade on your f22b1 there is write ups about it out there if your interested.

As long as the ports aren't to far off, I doubt they are, you could always have someone chop off the flanges and weld it back up.

I just may look into that if I can find a stock manifold cheap enough.

doesnt that mean that they spin the same way? in a sense..

they both turn toward the exhaust

                        idk, im a newb

Engines will always spin towards the front of the car. The K spins counterclockwise. The F and H spin clockwise.

If that's the case then all engines spin counterclockwise.
