ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i have read that the auto TB is a little bit smaller but nothing about being different other than that.
my friend also said it may be a late 95 motor or something... so they just put that plug there instead of using the vacuum hoses

I was also reading that not all of the hoses get used all of the time, your situation might be one of those times.

You could always try running the line to one of the nipples on the drivers side of the IM, its not supposed to go there, but it couldn't hurt trying it. Man, around here it isn't hard to find an awesome sig, just watch deev and Turbo Dave. I guarantee you'll find a great one in no time!

Wouldnt it be better to watch the people online and NOT work on your car and be able to drive it? Makes sense to me.. lol

Take a picture of the top of the TB and about tapping it and putting a nipple there and see if anyone agrees here..

Could be a dumb question, or maybe not, is your MAP sensor plugged in? Its not plugged in in any of your pics.

so i took that sensor out and there was a hole down in there and goes into the intake and what not... so i just put a little plastic nipple in it and put the vacuum hose on it...
this should work in theory right?

I'll be honest, h22's are not my strong subject, but the MAP sensor is there for a reason, and if you have the ecu for that engine, its looking for input from it. Not having that sensor plugged in when the ecu its looking for it will cause issues. So I would say your theory is flawed but again, this isn't my strong point. You should plug in that sensor.

it looks as if your car is obd 1 and the MAP sensor is in that black box those 3 hoses your asking about are coming from.

some h22 TB's have the MAP on top of the TB instead of on the firewall. In this case, try using your old TB from the f22 or going to a junkyard n grabbing a TB from a h23 or h22 with no map sensor built into the top. these one's will have a nipple there instead of the sensor.

I swapped my motor and dealt with this issue. better alternative than splicing the new map sensor in. and in Cali. if a smog ref see's the car's smog equipment has been tampered with, it's no pass.

GL. and if your car is obd2 nvm. lol

it should but it will be limited, unless you get a new nipple and re-tap it.
it sounds like the nipple broke like it did to me, i had to get a whole new TB, im not too sure if an F will fit but it wouldnt hurt to try.
going off that diagram its right i've changed all my vac lines to silicone and the problem with these old vac lines is that they tend to stick to the nipples and break them if you dont cut them off.

                          for anyone else
the short line that goes to the TB is #21
