So i finally installed my new distributor today and it started right up
Bleed the cooling system out and got rid of the erratic idle issue but i have this really really shitty sounding noise
Also why does the temperature gauge do that? I had this as my ground setup, wire from the body to the valve cover and second wire to the PS bracket. When its hooked up like this the wire from the valve cover to the PS bracket gets very hot and started smoking.
This is how its setup
EDIT: just realised the larger wire goes on the PS bracket first and then the smaller one goes to the valve cover. I fixed it but i still get the eratic gauges.
