ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I have absolutely no idea what you are asking. I bet that ECU is nice and shiny, though.

          Who is chrom?
No basemap should ever be used to actually drive around... a basemap is only used to get the car running so it can be tuned.

What frankenstein do you plan on building? H23 head on what block? Or what head on the H23 block?

How do you plan on matching the cylinder bores to the combustion chamber diameters?

I would assume he's putting the h22 head on the h23 block. it's perfect fit, you might as well upgrade to a higher compression piston while your at it, to take advantage of the swap.
As for the ecu's I'll have to check, it's been a while.

I think you understand, if you want for people to take the time to give you a proper answer, you may want to take your time and ask a proper question.

If he uses the H22 head, he's not 'nontec" anymore.

A properly tuned P28 will work just fine. Focus on building the engine properly first, then worry about ECU tuning. From the sounds of it, the OP has very little understanding of what is involved here. It's not like playing with Legos, and uploading a simple program. To build a frankenstein engine properly, a lot of work is required. Honestly, I don't see merit in ANY frankenstein build with the H and F engines. More reliable results can be had with a complete engine. The only people I know that have had success with frankenstein motors have a good deal of experience, and they're very smart guys. Many of them have blown a few up in the process of learning, as well.
Additionally, not a single one of them made threads like this.

                  Wow. Ok...

So you want to tear apart a perfectly good H22 why? To add .1L, less compression, a potentially weaker crank (this is something I have read, but never proven), and guaranteed higher mileage. Or do you want to rip off the H22A head and replace it with the H23A1 head... which will be a downgrade.

I can only assume he want to drop the f22 crank in their. Hmm.

Unless he tells us what he's planning, that's all we can do is assume... and waste our time giving advice based on those assumptions.
