Been doin some searching into the both and wanted some real expertise opinion
my cb7 is def a daily drive but i like to do some revving once in a blue moon
Supposedly Cold Air Intake can be dangerous if you don't have a water shield. If the waters actually get's into the system it can hyrdo-lock the engine. But im guessing if it's just raining would that even matter ?
What's the difference from having warmer air coming from on top of your engine than the cold air intake bringing in cooler air from the outside. After it goes through the intake manifold doesn't it " clean the air " i guess i can say.
As for as power the short intake gives you more power in the higher hq/tq in mid range RPM's while cold air intake gives you more in higher RPM's
So to sum it all up what you recommend for a daily drive ?
thanks
